Adult Education Programs
Programs designed for adult learners and offered by a traditional K-12 school.

Alternative Programs
Programs created to instruct at-risk students in a traditional K-12 school.

Before/After School Programs
Programs that provide a safe environment for children in the hours before school is in session and after dismissal. The programs may be educational or recreational in nature.

Bilingual Programs
A K-12 school that offers instruction in language(s) other than English.

Blue Ribbon Schools
A public or private K-12 school that has demonstrated gains in student achievement or that receives a superior rating in its annual assessment.

Libraries
Schools that have a library located on-site.

Multi-Age Classrooms
Traditional K-12 schools that offer instruction in a multi-age classroom environment.

Music Programs
Schools that have concert, marching, or other band programs. This does not include orchestra or vocal music programs.

PTA/PTO
Traditional K-12 schools that have a Parent Teacher Association or a Parent Teacher Organization.

School Technology
Schools that have technology services available to students including Internet, computer labs, etc. Tech Savvy Schools have a district-wide network connecting all schools to each other and the Internet.

Sports Programs
Traditional K-12 schools that offer competitive sports programs. This category does not identify schools that offer only intramural sports programs.

Vocational Education Classes
A traditional K-12 school that provides vocational or trade classes.
