Sweet Springs, MO – February 17, 2012 – MCH Strategic Data is proud to offer a complimentary white paper, "Principals' Assessment of Public Education" based on the market research recently conducted by MCH and our marketing partner, edWeb.net. The white paper is based on the recent online survey of public school principals to identify the biggest challenges and advancements in America’s public school system.
School principals were surveyed in November 2011 to determine the education landscape from their perspectives. Lack of funding was the key issue cited by the majority of respondents. Decreased funding from all levels of government, including state funding (87%), federal funding (72%), and local funding (69%) were cited. The white paper highlights the schools' greatest challenges, including critical needs not being met by current policies and programs. This assessment was the first in a series of planned annual surveys to benchmark and monitor these issues and concerns over time.
K-12 school levels are well represented in this national study: elementary, middle/junior high, and high school. 529 principals answered a series of quantitative and qualitative questions in the online survey. This insightful white paper explains the results of the survey by showcasing significant areas of need for schools and illuminating areas of opportunity for education vendors.
